Les Balcons de la Seugne - Booking Terms and Conditions

Reservations:

The reservation is guaranteed only upon receipt of a deposit. The deposit equates to 30% of the total stay, deductible from your final bill. For all reservations, we ask our clients to supply a deposit payment made to either our UK or French bank accounts. Full payment, less the deposit,  is due 14 days before your stay. In the case of cancellations less than 15 days before the date of your reserved stay, the deposit will not be reimbursed.  Unfortunately we do not accept credit cards. The payment of a deposit confirms that all of these terms and conditions have been accepted. We may ask for a security deposit on booking.

These terms and conditions are changeable at any moment without prior notice. 

Conforms to the law of 6 January 1978. Les Balcons de la Seugne will not divulge any client information with other societies or organisations.

Arrival hour:

The house will be available from 2pm onwards on the date of your arrival. 

Departure hour:

Please arrange to vacate the house by 12 midday on the date of your departure.

Animals:

We only accept well behaved pets, please ensure that they are kept off the furniture and beds. Please do not let you animal foul in the garden without disposing of it responsibly. 

Children:

Children who come and stay at Les Balcons are the sole responsibility of their parents/guardians. No children are allowed in the cellar and should not be left unsupervised on balconies or in the garden. We can provide travel cots and a high chair, which we try to ensure are in good working order. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that they are safe to use at the time of use. We endeavour to ensure that cleaning products are stored out of the reach of children, it is your responsibility to ensure that this is the case on your arrival and during your stay. We do not recommend that families with young children occupy the Granada room due to the internal staircase, if you do choose to stay in this room with young children it is your responsibility to ensure your child's safety during your stay, at all times.

Fire Safety:

We operate a no smoking policy in the house. Smoking in the garden is permitted. However we ask that you dispose of your cigarette butts responsibly at all times. There are smoke detectors situated throughout the house. On arrival please ensure that these are in good working order by pushing the test button.  Fire extinguishers can be found on the landing of number 31 and the kitchen of number 33.  A fire blanket can also be found in the kitchen of number 33. Please do not leave the fire in the snug or the BBQ unattended when in use. In the event of a fire immediately evacuate the house and dial 18 

First Aid kit:

A first aid kits can be found in the main house in the safety box in the Kitchen on the first floor. Please let the owners know if you have used anything out of the first aid kit on your departure so that these can be replenished before our next guests.

Accessibility:

The traditional style of Les Balcons, unfortunately means that the house is NOT wheelchair accessible, all bedrooms (apart from Granada which is on the second floor) are on the first floor.

Equipment:

Use of the BBQ and Canoe are at the users own risk. Children must NOT be allowed to use this equipment unsupervised. Before using equipment ensure it is safe to do so. Please ensure that all equipment is returned in the same condition. Please report an issues/defects to the owners as soon as possible.  

Garden:

Our beautiful garden at Les Balcons has direct river access, Children and non swimmers, must be supervised at all times whilst in the garden.

Cellar:

Steps to the cellar are steep and it has a low celling,  so extra care must be taken.  The cellar is an area used for storage, hazards may be present. It is your responsibility to be aware of these potential hazards and to manage the risks. Children are not permitted in the cellar at any time.

For the well-being of our guests:

The client agrees to respect the rules and ambience of the house and garden, for the well-being and enjoyment of all the other guests on the premises. 

Breakages

The client agrees to leave the house and all its contents in the same condition as on their arrival. Should a breakage or damage to the house or contents happen, you must declare this to the owners and take full  financial responsibility. We may ask for a security deposit on booking.
